A Favorite

When my mom came to watch Keaton for us while we were in the hospital having Benjamin, she came with an arsenal of books, toys and goodies for Keaton. One book she brought was Moo Moo What Are You? published by Begin Smart Books. Now, I pride myself in having a pretty smart mommy ๐Ÿ™‚ But this made her a genius even a year later!

First, Keaton LOVES “touchy feely books”, has since “day 1”. Each animal in the book has a furry/fluffy/etc. spot to touch. He also LOVES animals (lately, he thinks he is a dog…but that’s another post for another time, haha). This has been a favorite of his, he loves naming the animals and making their noises and talking about the colors, then going back to run like a wild man (he used to sit still for it a lot longer…ah, who am I kidding, he never did that!)

But, now a year later, everyday (ok, everyย  HOUR during the day), Benjamin brings me this simple, brightly colored book and we slowly turn each page, looking at each cat, dog, sheep, pig and cow and “patting” them (just like the book suggests) and then watching those chubby cheeks get even fatter when I start making animal noises…followed by a pststststststts laugh ๐Ÿ™‚ย  ((working on getting that one one video)) ๐Ÿ™‚

So, thank you, Bebe, for a book that has stood the test of time for a year and counting!
