Keatonisms & Benjaminisms

Standard

They boys have been so sweet, funny and crazy lately. Why? Well, because we are all HEALTHY!!! YIPPIE!

Benjamin does have a couple 2-year molars cutting through, making him miserable at some points, but, overall, he’s his wildman self πŸ™‚

Some things from the past couple days that I had to ‘jot’ down before I forgot…

*Sunday night on the way to small group, the bright sun was setting and it was right in Keaton’s face. He kept covering his face saying, “Stop sun! No sun! I’m not ready yet!” HAHA loved it!

*Keaton has been into “putting out fires” since Papa & Susu bought the boys some fireman hats. He’ll run around with his hat on making siren noises and then I’ll say that something is on fire and he’ll hold his hands like he’s shooting some sort of tank gun (? ha) and go, “SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” It is hilarious. And guess what? Now Benjamin copies him! Too funny πŸ™‚ Is firefighting in their future? We shall see!

*We had to run Zach’s lunch to him Monday morning and Keaton was kind of zoning in his seat, very quiet, sucking his thumb, almost asleep. I looked back because I heard Benjamin making a shushing noise. B had his finger over his mouth and was looking all around shushing and pointing to K who was completely zoned. πŸ™‚

*Sunday night at small group, during worship, Keaton sat next to a friends’ daughter, Rachael and they were just singing their hearts out πŸ™‚ It was so cute!

*Keaton is getting quite an imagination and telling me stories all day long.

*Benjamin is into “baking” and having us “taste” things (bringing stacking cups and holding them up to our mouths – he goes NUTS when you take a “sip” and say, “yummmy!” )

*Benjamin has the most hysterical personality. I know it’s hard to believe it when you first meet Mr. Serious-No-I-Will-Not-Smile-At-You-No-Matter-How-Much-You-Make-A-Fool-Out-Of-Yourself, but wow, he is crazy. I wish I could even begin to describe him, but words truly do not suffice πŸ™‚
