1st half of Sept.

Standard

It’s never a dull moment around here, just not very exiting, blog-worthy moments πŸ˜‰ I’m attempting to do better at recording our moments, so here goes…

At the beginning of the month, we made a trip to VA to see family and friends. And, we also realized how stinkin’ similar 2-year-old-Zach looked like 2-year-old-Caedmon looks now…

Ridiculous. Right?

We came home, and a couple days later…

Benjamin is loving preschool. He’s taking a page from Keaton’s book and “forgetting” what all he does at school. πŸ˜‰ He does remember throughout the course of the afternoon, and is more than happy to share. I think he’s just like his mama and simply needs a bit of time to decompress after being with a slew of people. We also had B’s 4 year well check last week. He clocked in at 40″ and 41.5lbs with perfect vision and hearing.

Today, Keaton tracked back in to school, and we had Caedmon’s 2 year well check. C checked out at a healthy 32lbs and 33.5in (though I thought I saw 36in…I’m going to remeasure) πŸ˜‰Β  His hearing is perfect, however the machine that checks vision deemed his eyesight not-so-spectacular. One eye is 20/20, however the other is 20/200. She referred us to an ophthalmologist that sees children as young as he, so hopefully we can get in there soon, and get to the bottom of this and get him the help he may need (there is the chance that the machine was wrong, but since the other eye was perfect, she doubts that the case).

Me? I’ve been battling equilibrium issues. I’ve been ’round and ’round the mulberry bush (? it’s the jacked up ear crystals talking…) with an antibiotic, countless chiro appointments, and learning the Epley Maneuver. Good times.

Zach’s chugging away at his classes – Greek & Preaching. He’s walking around with a pocketful of note cards with obscure letters covering them and preparing a sermon to preach next Tuesday in class.

Possibly, I’ll check back in before the end of the month πŸ˜‰
